Payment for Services is required in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via the methods listed on the Website (e.g., debit/credit card, bank transfer, or approved invoicing for NDIS participants).
Where invoicing is used, payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
5.2. Pricing
All fees for Services are listed on the Website and/or in written communication from From the Start Pty Ltd.
Fees may vary depending on the type of Service (e.g., counselling, group programs, education courses, community workshops, or NDIS-funded supports).
Prices are subject to change at any time. Any changes will be updated on the Website and communicated to clients prior to booking.
For NDIS participants, fees are charged in line with the current NDIS Price Guide and may be adjusted if the NDIS updates its pricing structure.
Where additional time is required beyond the scheduled appointment, additional fees will apply at the standard hourly rate.
5.3. Cancellations and Refunds
From the Start Counselling & Support Services has a 24-hour minimum notice cancellation policy for all pre-booked appointments.
If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice, a $100 fee will apply.
If you provide less than 12 hours’ notice or do not attend, the full service fee will be charged.
These fees are out-of-pocket expenses and are not eligible for rebates through private health funds.
This policy exists to ensure:
Respect for Scheduled Time: last-minute cancellations prevent another client from accessing support.
Fair Access for All: without sufficient notice, clients on the waiting list may miss an opportunity to receive care.
If From the Start Pty Ltd cancels an Appointment, you will be entitled to a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
